Название книги переводится как "становление" или "как я стала собой". Как и обычная автобиография, имеет структуру, начинающуюся с истории родителей или даже бабушек и дедушек, потом детство, взросление, учеба, первая работа, любовь, брак, семья, дети, другие события в жизни. Данная книга начинается с детства в Чикаго и заканчивается жизнью в Белом Доме в статусе Первой Леди. Книга достаточно легко читается, но надо иметь уровень английского языка ближе к Intermediate. Мне понравилось, что Мишель достаточно искренна и открыта в своей книге, есть много интересных чёрно-белых фото.
