Я нашел эту книгу очень умной и интересной. Я немного узнал о шахматах и мне это понравилось. Мне также нравились феминистские взгляды. Второстепенные персонажи были интересны и хорошо прописаны.
К сожалению, эта книга мне не понравилась так же, как предыдущие. Главным образом потому, что тревога, отрицание и отсутствие самосознания героини стали для меня слишком сильными. Я тоже дошёл до конца и так и не совсем "понял" героя - просто много загадочных взглядов. Были моменты, когда он сиял, но в основном он казался совершенно пустым. Наконец-то я надеялся на большее в финале. Всё было хорошо, но мне казалось, что чего-то не хватает 🔥.
