Фрэнк Миллер возвращается к вселенной Темного рыцаря, на этот раз в написании сценария ему помог Брайан Аззарелло (отличный автор, с большим багажом годных произведений). История в данном комиксе является приквелом, рассказывает из-за чего Бэтмен ушел на покой.
