Мне очень понравился второй роман Дженни Кинтаны. Дженни - талантливая писательница, она создает сильные и удивительно правдоподобные характеры и интригующе переплетающиеся сюжетные линии. Мне с самого начала понравилась главная героиня Элизабет, я переживала и сочувствовала ей, когда она понемногу раскрывала свою историю. Перемещение между 1978 и 1999 годами очень удачно, я вспоминала и узнавала аспекты обеих эпох. Поначалу книга разворачивается медленно и осторожно, но затем перерастает в захватывающую и напряженную финальную треть и концовку. События, формировавшие жизнь юной Элизабет в годы ее взросления, перетекают в ее настоящее (1999 г.), а последствия и похороненные, полузабытые воспоминания открывают поразительные и ужасающие истины и тайны. На этом этапе я просто не мог оторваться от книги!
