Из за того что в книге почти не уделяется времени любовной линии, история получилось очень яркой, красочной и динамичной, без лишних эмоциональных терзаний из за этого и прочих глупостей. Главная героиня раздражений не вызывала, хорошо была описана её необычная способность, что приковывала к сюжету интерес. Так же держало в напряжении то что никому здесь доверять нельзя. Почему то история напомнила вселенную "Тень и кость" Ли Бардуго, постоянно ассоциировала всех персонажей отсюда и оттуда. Но впечатления от этого не испортилось, захотелось даже прочесть продолжение. Для чтения на английском идеально подходит, текст показался лёгким и понятным
