Интересное произведение Майкла Коннелли из серии о детективе Босхе. Читатель получает замечательный шанс посмотреть на происходящее глазами главного героя, больше узнать о его чувствах и мыслях, именно это особенно удаётся автору. Изложенное на первый взгляд достаточно спокойным стилем повествование держит в напряжении до самого конца, и это одна из главных особенностей литературного стиля Коннелли.
