Возможно, эта книга не самая сильная у Люсинды Райли с точки зрения непредсказуемого и лихо закрученного сюжета и наличия разносторонних персонажей, поскольку все одни выписаны достаточно шаблонно и однотипно (лично мне не очень нравится, когда все однозначно «черное» или однозначно «белое»), однако в ней присутсвуют все типичные элементы её фирменного стиля: раскрытие сюжета в стиле жанра семейной саги, флэшбэки между прошлым и настоящим, с помощью которых мы также узнаем многое о жизни и личных историях героев и, конечно же, история любви, которая не знает временных преград … Поскольку эта книга в оригинале, стоит отметить её отличный стиль и хороший современный язык со множеством интересных и полезных выражений, поэтому с точки зрения языка, любителям чтения в оригинале на неё стоит обратить внимание.
