Книга, которая заставит вас задаться некоторыми вопросами на религиозную тему. Кстати, именно за это многие этот роман и критикуют - за то, что Дэн Браун, по их мнению, подрывает авторитет церкви, искажает события, имеющие религиозную значимость. Лично я не принимаю информацию из книги настолько всерьёз. Браун много чего неоднозначного пишет, и делает он это, как мне кажется, скорее для лучших продаж, нужно всё-таки учитывать, что этот поп-фикшн, людям нравится такое читать.

Начало немного сложное и нагружены имена, терминами и сюжет воспринимается достаточно сложно. Но потом после 200 страницы примерно сюжет раскрывается в совершенно неожиданном русле. Книга читается на одном дыхание.
Отдельно хочется отметить исторические справки, культурологические моменты. Я узнала много нового для себя.
