Алая буква.
Натаниэль Готорн, возможно, не слишком широко знаком русскому читателю, но есть произведения мимо которых не стоит проходить. Алая буква- один из них. Захватывающая история Эстер Прин мало кого оставит равнодушным. Автор выступает с критикой пуританского общества. Язык может показаться не совсем легким, но все же можно осилить
