История развивается в современном Лондоне, довольно интересно выглядит переплетение его реальных мест и магического мира. Сам фантастический мир выглядит великолепно, в нём есть все стандартные атрибуты волшебства, к которым мы привыкли: ведьминские кланы, зелья и заклинания, магические растения, большая магическая библиотека и так далее. Прекрасный язык автора в сочетании с отличными героями меня покорили, даже не смотря на медленно развивающиеся события истории.
