Себастьян Фолкс, как всегда, делает это снова. Его произведения поражают своей реалистичностью исторических связей и переплетающихся с ними человеческих историй, которые действительно так правдивы. Сладко-горький финал, к сожалению, тоже соответствует жизни, а завязывание эмоциональных узлов, так сказать, - тема, о которой мы должны говорить больше, благодаря тому, как движется концепция. Мне кажется, что люди недостаточно осознают, насколько необходимо знать, кто мы, откуда взялись наши гены, чего мы можем ожидать в жизни, как в плане здоровья, так и в плане характера, обусловленного нашим генетическим наследием. Все эти вопросы рассматриваются в книге очень тонко и грамотно. Отличное чтение.
